Make in India
Since time I had a dream to visit foreign countries but a trip had changed my perspective.
I would love to share my story with you.
Since I was 8 years old I loved travelling and I wished I visit only foreign countries.
When I was 10 years old, my father had planned to visit Hampi. I had never heard the
name of Hampi in my life before. I had visited with my aunt’s family. I love exploring new places so I was
excited about it. When it was our first day and we were going to visit The Vijaynagar palace. This is the point
where my perspective changed. When I entered the palace, I was astonished to see so many foreigners
visiting the temple. And, when the guide told us the history I was really shocked to see a place like this. For
a point I thought,” If there are such places in India why do we still have dreams to visit abroad”? I am pretty sure
not only this is the place, there would be many places in India which has histories and stories. After that when I
visited the other places in Mysore too (like the Mysore palace).I got to know about the sculptures and found a
mysterious place. I actually thanked my parents to make me visit such a beautiful place in India and to make me
realise it is not only abroad but also India is the best place to visit.
This is what just changed my perspective about travelling. From then I wish to visit places in India than
abroad and give first preference to India. I also learnt that we should respect whatever we have. I hope this
corona virus cures and I get to explore India!
My name is Mitti Jain. I am a student of standard 8.
My hobby is dancing, singing. I love exploring
India. I sometimes read during my spare time.
I love spending time with me and my family too.
